The only thing I genuinely like about this movie is Aang"s tatoo. “Children” cartoons just dont go this hard anymore. Blood-bending beats it all. Still wasn"t bad as Dragonball: Evolution. He rules with a STONE fist. Nice one dude. Last of a once powerful nation WTF is this riddick. the air nomads were peaceful not powerful. This is the subreddit for fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, the comics, the upcoming Netflix live action ATLA series, and all other Avatar content. There is no movie.

 

Avatar: The Last Budget. I love this series. What you are commentating on is from an adults perspective. Remember this show was meant for teens. The Scene where The Captain was thrown overboard, I think it was meant to be funny as opposed to that of Azula. Avatar was a series which showed growth of a teenager who doesn"t realise the weight of the hopes being placed on him. And IMO, it has been done fantastically. Didnt have the budget for the giant spirit part eh. Instead a big wave. ugh. I kinda wished they wouldve kept the show going a little longer until Zuko found his mother. I know they made a couple of books about it, but wouldve loved to see the actual show do it. For me the Avatar just became fabulous the moment Toph came in, and was really great for the rest xD.

6:21 In the actual show, the earth people were imprisoned at a place made entirely of metal so they wouldn"t have the ability to fight back or rebel and they had their will broken by it. Did jet just die? You know, it wasn"t really clear. That fireball at 5:56 is so cool. Love the way the animators made it seem so pressurized, like a black hole of flames. Man that"s weird just 5 minutes of nothing.

I watched this show as a kid. Binge watched it when I was about 16 (i realized it was great then. Now I just rewatched it on Netflix as a 23 year old. Wow... I probably cried 10 times throughout the series. After going through real life heartbreak and issues Avatar hits different. Zuko and Uncle Iroh made the show for me as an adult. Aang: I don"t even smile in that movie! Sokka and Katara: Smile? They got our race wrong! Zuko: They got my race wrong too and I don"t even have a scar! Toph: You guys are in the movie. 2:48 All the bad guy cliches He"s not eating an apple though...

You should watch the series. You didnt name ALL the things wrong in the movie. Like Irohs belly. 18:29 that legit was my actual reaction when i saw that scene lmaoo.
